Hey Kiki was made by a couple of 40-somethings who, one day, looked down at the pocket-sized mind prisons we call phones, and in a fit of passive agressive rage, threw their digital masters into the Willamette River.

They then went to the store and bought new phones (they were due for an upgrade anyway) because they forgot how to get home without Google Maps.

But the IDEA of getting off their phones persisted. And from that moment they’ve strived to create anolog events in cool venues where people put down their phones and sometimes engage with each other. Other times its super awkward because we’ve forgotten how to talk to strangers unless they’re pixelated.

They still consider this progress.
